“We first employed Inspired Coaching with our Sports funding to redevelop our lunchtime activities and to support our lunchtime supervisors. More recently they have trained our playground leaders and run lunchtime clubs for each year group in school. We have found this professional organisation to be very reliable, approachable and able to tailor their activities to meet the requirements of the school and the needs of the children. Reception to Year 4 children enjoy working with the coaches and as a school we couldn’t be happier with the provision.”
Mrs Victoria Lloyd, Assistant Headteacher, St Mary & St Chad’s First School, Brewood.

“Sport Across Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent have supported and worked with Inspired Coaching since October 2011. Inspired Coaching were keen to develop their understanding of disability so they could provide a more inclusive environment within their sessions. They embraced several courses and jumped on the opportunity to become involved with the running of our Inspire Multi Sport Club in South Staffordshire. Since they took this on board they have worked with a range of disabilities and have developed skills to make their sessions inclusive and enjoyable. They have shown a professional approach to the club and are consistently looking at developing their coaches.”
Mark Fosbrook, Aiming High: Disability Sport & Physical Activity Officer, Sport Across Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent, Stafford Borough Council

“Inspired Coaching has been coaching football at our school since the beginning of this school year. Richard and his team always arrives with plenty of time to set up and he ensures he has enough equipment so that all the children are engaged. Inspired Coaching runs two coaching sessions one for KS1 children and another for KS2, the children thoroughly enjoy his sessions. The coaches have built up an excellent rapport with our children and as a result he does not have any behavior management issues. The whole Inspired team have shown respect for health and safety by ensuring the playing areas are risk free wherever possible. The coaches take safeguarding very seriously and ensure that children are not left alone with other adults. Here are some of the words of praise our children have for the Inspired team:
“It’s really good.” Y2 boy
“I love kicking the ball.” Y1 girl
“It’s really energetic and fun, you get to play lots of games.” Y3 girl

Thank you very very much for last Saturday(17th July 2010), it was the best training sesion the kids have ever had. They all want you to become their fulltime coach they said you and your training sesion was BRILL, GREAT, BEST, SAFE just a few of the remarks that were said, I have even had a parent phone me offering to pay for one sesion for the boys as his son has reported back to him how good it was. So from this and the response, you have made a massive impact on a little team and management from Perton. Once again a BIG thanks, I look forward to seeing you September!”

“Inspired coaching are currently delivering multi skills sessions at our children’s Centre in Wildwood Stafford. The sessions are aimed at children aged 2 – 4 years and have proved to be very popular. The sessions provided not only promote motor skills, but also turn taking, listening, scaffolding and high order thinking. I have had very positive feedback from all the parents, especially how professional, yet still approachable and child friendly the coach is. He remembers all the children, and their progress which enables a bespoke lesson that brings the best out in all the children. This leads to self achievement, confidence and fun for each individual child. Keeping fit and healthy, made fun.”
Kasey Whiting, Wildwood Children Centre Manager
“Since the start of January we have run a Multi Sills Physical Activity one hour session at our Tuesday night youth club run by Inspired Coaching. We have 2 coaches who come and do 15 minutes of fun warming up and engagement, 30 minutes of physical work, skills, such as catching, throwing, movement, running in teams and then 15 minutes of a fun game such as indoor football or dodgeball. Since we’ve started these sessions we have had a 60% increase in the number of young people coming to the youth club. Having spoken to the new children coming, it is purely the coaching sessions which are driving them to us, as they have heard their friends saying what fun they have when they are here. We have been using Inspired Coaching for over 2 years now, the children love it when we have them at our sessions.”
Sara Connelly, Secretary, Loose Women, Featherstone
“I have been working with Inspired Coaching for two years and during that time have found them to be extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. The coaching staff have worked well as part of our team and are always willing to go that extra mile in order to help and support. The staff show an excellent quality of care and most of all the children learn well and enjoy their learning. The children have been motivated and engaged and made significant progress especially in dance and football. I would fully recommend them to lead and develop sports in any school or club.”
Mrs. Lynn Small, Headteacher, Littltongreen Community School
“I would like to express my thanks to you and your team for the football coaching you have provided for us over the past couple of terms. We had struggled to provide quality football training until your team arrived. What has impressed us is the emphasis you put on fair play and each child trying their personal best to improve. The after-school club has been successful because the children have really enjoyed each session and also because parents feel it is value for money. Each session has a good balance between skills practise and competitive play. With Inspired Coaching sessions running for most of the year All Saints felt well prepared to enter the Stafford and District football tournament. As a small school we usually struggle but we held our own against some of the best school football teams in the Stafford area. What really helped was the way you took the tournament rules and merged them into your sessions so that the children were familiar with what to expect on the day. Your team is always courteous. Their approach is fair, firm and friendly. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending your services to other schools. We will continue to use your services and I am eager to talk to you about the possibility of organising other after-school clubs in future.”
Mr. Paul Hayward, Headteacher, All Saints Primary, Bednall.
“Inspired Coaching have been working with our 3 and 4 year olds delivering Multi-Skills. The children enjoy each session and look forward to every Wednesday morning. Parents have also commented how much their children enjoy the Multi-Skills session. The coach works well with the children and has 2 groups of mixed ability; it has helped their gross and fine motor skills along with their listening skills. They are all treated as individuals and show pride in their achievements. I would have no hesitation in recommending Inspired Coaching to any Nursery, Playgroup or Children Centre!”
Jackie Eustace, Supervisor, Wildwood Playgroup
