P.E. Curriculum

P.E. Curriculum

Inspired Coaching offers cover in Physical Education lessons, allowing teachers to dedicate their Planning, Preparation and Assessment time to classroom activities. We provide schools with bespoke lesson plans, designed to the National Curriculum, which cover skill, technique and game practices in a wide range of sports.

Each half-term addresses a different sport, with a progression of skills throughout the weeks. Assessments are taken at the beginning and end of each half-term, with the intention that each and every student in the class shows improvement over the period.

We understand that each school is unique, and has different requirements and expectations for their students, as well as their own policies and procedures. Therefore, we strive to form positive relationships with all P.E. co-ordinators and staff within the school, in order to maintain excellent communication and ensure we are satisfying every need.

Inspired Coaching's work in this area is priced at a very competitive rate, and we believe the service we offer will enhance any P.E. lesson, giving every student a positive experience of sport in their school day. We feel sport in school, both through Physical Education lessons as well as other mediums, is a vital topic that all children should benefit from, a view shared by many people both inside and outside of the sport and education picture:

"Sport is so important because it encourages children to be active, lead a healthy lifestyle, make friends and, of course, have fun, but quality school sport has benefits that spread right across the curriculum and beyond - it develops confidence and a sense of achievement, it teaches young people how to rise to a challenge, and nurtures the character and skills that will help them get on and succeed in life."
David Cameron
Prime Minister. February 2014

"As well as increasing fitness, it has been shown to help concentration as well as being a key factor in appreciating team work and a healthy lifestyle."
Clare Balding
BBC Sports Presenter. February 2014

"The help I got at school was a key part of how I got to where I am today and so it can make a big difference."
Mo Farah
World Olympic & European 5000m & 10000m champion
