In September Inspired Coaching took on Katy Crookston full time in the role of Dance Co-ordinator. Katy has helped drive the dance division of Inspired and more and more schools are adding dance to the activities we provide.

Youngsters from across Europe were pleasantly surprised to have former England & West Ham striker Dean Ashton visit them on their recent Football course Inspired Coaching delivered in conjunction with International Linguistic company ‘Plus’.

Ashton, who was forced to retire during the peak of his career due to an injury he sustained whilst on International duty with England, joined the youngsters who had made the trip from Italy, France, Hungary amongst other countries, at Bedford University to hand out some certificates and trophies.

“It was great to see youngsters from various parts of Europe all coming together and enjoying the universal sport that is Football. The Inspired team did an excellent job in breaking down any language barriers, and in some ways reminded me of when Javier (Mascherano) and Carlo (Tevez) first arrived at West Ham. In the dressing room the language barrier was a real issue, however once we got the ball involved there was no such problem!” said Ashton.

Inspired Dance with Adelle Holiday Workshop.

Exciting routines incorporated into a fun, enjoyable week of dance and drama.  For boys and girls ages 3 to 16.  The week of learning and practice culminates with a vibrant show for parents, friends and grandparents on the Friday (5^th).

Venue: Littletongreen Community School, Huntington, Cannock, WS12 4UD

Dates: Monday 1st – Friday 5th August.

Time: 10am-3pm.

Cost: £60 for the week.

Age: 3-16year boys and girls.

Requirements: Comfy Dance clothes (no jeans) , Packed Lunch, Drinks.

Football Fun Week- Penkridge.

Venue: Wolgarston High School, Penkridge, ST19 5RX

Dates: Mon 1st- Fri 5th August.

Time: 10am- 3pm.

Cost: £12 per day £50 for the week.

Requirements: Comfy Sports clothing appropriate for the weather, Trainers in case we go inside, boots or trainers for outside, packed lunch, drinks, sun hat and sun lotion (we hope!!!!)

The New facilities are completed at the Broadway School and we are please to confirm that we will be running our very popular Multi-Sports course there for 5 weeks in the summer holidays!

The sessions will begin on the 25th July and will continue through to the 26th August, not including weekends. Dave Barrett who leads the course says, “The kids who have attended the courses here in the past have always thoroughly enjoyed them. With the brand new state of the art, 4G astro turf pitch, Dance studio, sports hall, etc, the course will be even better than usual. To have access to multi-million pound facilities for the cost of just £1 a day is tremendous.”

Inspired Coaching’s rapidly expanding organisation require more Level 2 Football coaches to work alongside our current team. Applicants must be enthusiastic and driven.

Inspired Coaching will be running 2 ‘Football Fun Weeks’ off the back of the success of the last half terms courses.

Sessions will run at Acton Trussell Community Centre (ST17 0RZ) and Wolgarston High School (ST19 RX) between the 31st May and the 3rd June.

The cost is £12 per day or £40 for the 4 day course.

The sessions are for boys and girls of all abilities between the ages of 4-13 years old.

Participants will need to wear warm comfortable sports kit, trainers or boots, a packed lunch, drinks, and MUST WEAR SHIN PADS!

Inspired Coaching’s recent ‘Football Fun Week’ was not only very well attended, but the quality of football produced by all the participants was of a very high standard.

“The sessions are delivered to boys and girls of mixed ability, and we always make sure we cater for every individuals need. On these particular courses we were fortunate that we were dealing with some really good players, which enabled us to put on some more demanding sessions which were enjoyed by all. As a coach it’s really rewarding to see the progress that a lot of the boys and girls we’ve worked with, are making”  Explains coach Leon Miles.

We are pleased to release details of courses we are putting on locally in the forthcoming Easter Holidays. All 3 courses will run simultaneously during the first week of the Easter holidays, commencing on Monday 11th April and ending on Friday 15th April.

Boys& Girls aged 5- 13 years.

Multi-Sports Course- Cannock.

Our Multi-Sports course will be running from the brand new, state of the art, Littletongreen Community School, Cocksparrow Lane, Huntington, Cannock, WS12 4PB. This Course is part of  ASDA’s sporting stars scheme, therefore a limited amount of places are available FREE of charge. If you intend using the ASDA vouchers, please check that places are still available through this initiative.

We will cover a variety of sports during this course, including:- Football, Basketball, Rounders, Cricket, Dodgeball…….

Boys& Girls aged 5- 13 years.

Mon 11th- Fri 15th April.
